Key Responsibilities:
✅ Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and families to provide comprehensive support.
✅ Assist clients with mobility and daily activities.
✅ Provide personal care, as needed.
✅ Support clients with meal preparation and feeding.
✅ Monitor and report changes in clients’ health conditions.
✅ Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging recreational activities.
✅ Provide companionship and emotional support.
✅ Follow safety protocols to ensure clients’ well-being.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ A caring, patient, and empathetic individual with a passion for helping others.
✔️ Strong communication and problem-solving skills to support individuals with diverse needs.
✔️ Experience in caregiving, healthcare assistance, or a related field.
✔️ Ability to lift, move, and support clients safely.
✔️ Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
✔️ Valid First Aid/CPR certification.
✔️ PSW, CCA, or equivalent certification.
✔️ Understanding of mental health disorders (an asset).
✔️ Understanding of Dementia and Alzheimer support (an asset).
✔️ Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (not mandatory but an asset).
✔️ Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
