Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in this travel position, you will:
- Provide high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Adapt to diverse clinical environments and demonstrate flexibility in meeting the needs of different healthcare facilities.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care records.
- Adhere to professional and facility-specific policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Build rapport with patients, families, and staff across different facilities.
- Provide support during medical situations and effectively manage priorities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
Required Certifications & Qualifications
- Current and active RN License in Nova Scotia.
- BLS, CPR and First Aid Certification (current and valid)
- Immunization Record, including TB test and Covid-19 vaccination.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in a clinical setting.
- Criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening (required prior to employment)
